Nicka K Liquid Eyeliner Review (Affordable Makeup)

I had never heard of the ‘Nicka K New York’ makeup brand until I saw their products in a beauty supply store (the stores that sell hair weaves, wigs, makeup, etc.) Their products are pretty affordable too, and usually start around $2.

[BTW, this is NOT a sponsored post. I bought this with my own money.]

Affordability

The affordability is what caught my eye. I was looking for a new liquid eyeliner that’s easy to use. This particular eyeliner, ‘Nicka K Liquid Eyeliner in Black’, cost only $2 in store. (As of today, it’s listed as $2.99 on their website.)

Previously, I used liquid eyeliner that had a flimsy brush, and I hated it. And I’ve also tried those push up pencil liners, and I hated those, too.

Precision Tip

What I like about Nicka K’s eyeliner is that it has a felt tip! I was able to apply it in one swoop. It was very easy to use. I usually don’t go bold with my eyeliner because I have hooded eyes, and I’d probably end up looking like a raccoon, but I figure that with its felt tip, it should be easy to go bold and chunky without looking messy.

When using other eyeliners, I usually mess up, and have to start over. I’ve never had that problem with this one.

The tip also only applied what I needed, and didn’t cause any of the product to drip down my face. That was a problem I had with liquid eyeliners with brush applicators.

Longevity

For me, it was long lasting as well. It lasted the entire duration of work (from 8:30 am to 5 pm) without looking faded. (Mind you, I work inside, so if you’re out and about or in a hot environment, I don’t know how long it would last for you.)

Nicka K also has eyeshadow and other products in their line. I picked up a nude palette by them, and I’ll post my review of it later as well. This is the eyeliner I’m using:Β http://www.nicka.com/index.php/eye/eyeliner/nicka-liquid-eyeliner.html
