Six Beautiful Glossy and Matte Lipsticks for Spring
Spring is no doubt my favorite season of the year. I wouldn’t say it’s because of the weather because I live in lower Alabama, and it’s pretty much hot all year round. But I love the flowers that bloom in spring–especially the Azaleas. And I love the holidays that occur in spring–namely Easter, Mother’s Day, and my birthday. Yes, I consider my birthday a holiday!
I picked out three matte lippies and three glossy lippies. All of these can be purchased for under $5.
Note: This is not a sponsored post, and all items were purchased by moi!
Six Beautiful Spring Lipsticks
(To see how each color looks on my lips, keep scrolling.)
1- Wet n Wild’s “Fuchsia with Blue Pearl” (#527B)
This is a glossy lippie, and is available for usually $1 at Walgreens, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, etc.
2- Wet n Wild’s “Retro Pink” (#525D)
This one is glossy as well, and is usually $1.
3- Black Radiance’s Shade #5004
This is a glossy lipstick, too. I got this one from Dollar General, but Black Radiance is also sold at Walgreens and Walmart. Their lippies are usually between $2.50 and $3.
4- L.A. Color’s “Forever Fuchsia” (#CML511)
This fuchsia lippie is matte, and I got it for $1 at Dollar Tree. It’s found in other dollar stores, and possibly drugstores.
5- L.A. Color’s “Enchanting” (#CML467)
This is another matte shade by this company, and I bought it at Dollar General. I think this particular shade was $2 though, probably because of the packaging.
6- Black Radiance’s Shade #5118
This is a matte lippie as well. I love products from Black Radiance, especially their BB cream, which I used in this post: “Pink and Glittery Makeup Tutorial with Affordable Products.” I bought this one at Walgreens because they were having a cosmetics sales (which is usually every week lol).
If you’re having trouble finding one of these shades at one of the stores I mentioned, you can usually find them at another drugstore. And they’re sold online as well.
Here’s how the shades look on my lips. They are in order from left to right.
